From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, India’s top guitarist Kapil Srivastava is leaving no stone unturned to showcase India’s unity in diversity with the help of his guitar skills.
Under his Amazing India world record attempt project he has pledged to compose, record and film over 300 compositions at different locations across India. He has already started on his mission.
On asking guitar player Kapil about his reasons for embarking on such a tough mission he said, “My objective is to bridge the beauty and culture of India using this project with today’s youth as well as global tourists. Just like each song that i compose and record, each location is also special to me.”
He initiated his first song journey from Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh by shooting Tere Mere Honton Pe on Guitar. “Blessed with beautiful lush green valley, amazing waterfall tumbling down with its drizzling sound I was savouring my cup of tea and enjoying the views from the Espresso Bar in Kandi Village in Himachal Pradesh,” commented Kapil. “The reason I choose this song to shoot at Espresso Bar is because Tere Mere Honton Pe always gives me two feelings, nostalgia and nature’s blessings on us and Espresso Bar justifies both in the best manner.”
The original song is from the 1989 Bollywood movie Chandni and sung by legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar and Babla Mehta.
